 THIS ELEGANT AUTOMOBILE, WITH BOAT-TAIL COACHWORK, WAS BUILT BETWEEN 1924 AND 1928 IN PADUA BY THE MARINO BROTHERS IN ABOUT 70 EXAMPLES.

IN 1926 IT DID WIN IN MONZA BECAUSE OF A SABOTAGE. THE TOURING MODEL REACHED 115 KM./H WITH A TINY ENGINE OF 1.100 CC.

THE ONE EXHIBITED HERE, DATED MAY 31, 1906, GRANTED TO BERTI OF BASSANO DEL GRAPPA IS THE OLDEST ONE KNOWN TO STILL EXIST

 GIORGIO DE WRAKIEN FROM TREVISO WAS A FANTASTIC AMATEUR INVENTOR, WHO BETWEEN 1926 AND 1930 BUILT AND PATENTED SOME INTERESTING ROTATIVE ENGINES.

 BETWEEN 1919 AND 1972 IN PADUA THE INGAP COMPANY, EMPLOYING ABOUT 800 PEOPLE, BUILT SMALL TIN CAR. FOR MANY YEARS THEY WERE THE TOYS MOST COVETED BY ALL THE CHILDREN.

 THE LANCIA CAR MAKING COMPANY IS TIED TO THE VENETO REGION FOR TWO REASONS: IT WAS FOUNDED IN 1906 BY VINCENZO LANCIA FROM TURIN AND BY CLAUDIO FOGOLIN WHO HAD BEEN BORN IN VENETO.  OMOBONO TENNI, BIKER FROM TREVISO, WAS AMONG THE BRAVEST AND MOST WINNING ONES. STARTING FROM THE THIRTIES OF THE LAST CENTURY HE WON – FIRST NON BRITISH RIDER ON A NON BRITISH BIKE – THE TERRIBLE 1937 TOURIST TROPHY; HE WAS RIDING A 250 PE S GUZZ

IT WAS TOO EARLY, ONE HAD TO WAIT THE 21ST CENTURY, WHEN PIAGGIO INTRODUCED THE MP3 SCOOTER, WITH TWO WHEELS IN FRONT, THE SAME SPECIFICATIONS AS DESIGNED BY MICHELONI 40 YEARS EARLIER.

 IN 1970 ANGELO DELLE MOLLE, PADUA INDUSTRIALIST, STARTED WORKING ON ENVIRONEMENT RESEARCH APPLIED TO CARS. HE BUILT ABOUT 200 PROTOTYPES OF THE ELECTRIC “PGE” MOTOR CARS FOR A BIGGER PROJECT OF RECLAIMING CITIES FROM TRAFFIC, WHICH ONLY TODAY IS BECOMING REALITY, THANKS TO THE CONTRIBUTION OF A FEW CAR MAKERS.

 THE ADVENTURE OF THE TREVISO BENETTON FAMILY IN FORMULA 1 IS A GREAT DEMONSTRATION OF PRECISE AND CAREFUL ORGANIZATION, SO TYPICAL OF THE PEOPLE FROM VENETO.  LUCA BADOER, BORN IN MONTEBELLUNA, PROVINCE OF TREVISO, WAS AN EXCELLENT FORMULA 1 DRIVER; FROM 1998 TILL 2010 HE WAS THE THIRD PILOT OF THE FERRARI TEAM, TEST DRIVER OF ALL THE FORMULA 1 CARS OF THOSE YEARS, THAT HE DROVE FOR OVER 132.000 KILOMETERS.

 FEDERICO FAGGIN, SCIENTIST FROM VICENZA, WHEN 19 DESIGNED THE FIRST OLIVETTI COMPUTER, AND IN 1975 INVENTED THE MICROCHIP, WHICH TODAY MOVES THE ENTIRE WORLD, FROM THE HOUSE GATE TO THE SPACE SATELLITE.

HIS LAST WORK WAS THIS ROTARY ENGINE, ABSOLUTELY REVOLUTIONARY VIS-A-VIS THE TRADITIONAL DESIGN, TO WHICH SEVERAL MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRIES SHOWED INTEREST.

 BIFRANGI WAS BORN AS A CRAFTSMAN OPERATION TO PROCESS STEEL AND IN 1950 IT BECAME AN INDUSTRIAL COMPANY. IN 1985 THE INTERNATIONAL GROWTH STARTED, WITH FACTORIES IN MUSSOLENTE (VI), IN THE UK, TWO, AND IN THE USA. PRODUCTION COVERS WHEEL JOINTS, CRANKCASES, GEARS AND MORE, FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT MOTORING COMPANIES IN THE WORLD. BIFRANGI SUPPORTS THE AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM “BONFANTI-VIMAR”.
