Per anni attento ricercatore presso il Museo dell’Automobile “Bonfanti-VIMAR”, Carlo Alberto Gabellieri ci ha lasciato dopo una breve e terribile malattia, alla quale aveva opposto invano una lucida e strenua battaglia.
Appassionato di automobilismo, toscano poi trapiantato nel Veneto, Gabellieri fu nel 1988 addetto stampa dell’Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello e nel 1990 della Subaru-Coloni di Formula 1. Giornalista dal 1992 collaborò con varie testate del settore, come addetto stampa a molti eventi ed organizzazione di mostre. Autore di diversi libri e per dieci anni circa ha lavorato al Museo dell’Automobile “Bonfanti-VIMAR” ad un imponente archivio del motorismo veneto, che si spera di dare alle stampe quanto prima, quale opera completa che porterà il nome di Carlo Alberto a ricordo di tanta passione e professionalità.
